Gear Pump Range Catalogue

Tapflo Gulf’s Gear Pumps are renowned for their exceptional fluid transfer capabilities. These Positive Displacement Pumps function by interlocking cogs or gears, ensuring a continuous flow of fluid. There are 2 fundamental designs: external and internal. External Gear Pumps consist of two identical gears, with one driven by a motor, propelling the other (both shafts may be motor-driven). Supported by the casing, these pumps operate seamlessly. Internal Gear Pumps employ the same principle but with a twist. The interlocking gears are of different sizes, with the larger rotor containing teeth and a smaller, off-centre idler gear for a precise fit. Our Internal Eccentric and External Gear Pumps meet rigorous safety standards and can be ATEX-rated for hazardous applications. They efficiently handle viscous and semi-viscous fluids, making them suitable for Fuel, Caustic, Adhesive, Pharmaceutical and Food applications.
