Heating/Cooling Jacket
Our Heating/Cooling Jacket, an optional accessory designed to enhance your pump’s performance, is used to maintain precise temperatures for your pumped product. This versatile feature caters to both hot and cold requirements by circulating a medium, typically steam or water, around the pump. Integrated into the pump and covering all wetted parts, the Heating Jacket efficiently circulates the heating medium for precise temperature control. It plays a key role in handling liquids prone to solidification at lower temperature, preventing damage to the pump and its mechanical seals. On-demand Electric Heating Jackets are also available.
The choice of pump that will be paired with a Heating/Cooling Jacket is determined based on budget, flow rate, pressure requirements, installation considerations and whether the customer uses an electrically or air-driven pump
